Mal is a true “Baseball Lifer” with a long baseball career highlighted by 12 years as the Director of Communications for the Toronto Blue Jays. During his tenure, he developed extensive contacts with sports media outlets across North America and Major League Baseball Front Offices, establishing himself as a respected figure in the industry. A digital pioneer, Mal was instrumental in the early development of the MLB Gameday App. His professional expertise is matched by a thorough, comprehensive knowledge of the sport at every level, spanning from grassroots community minor baseball and Canadian Elite programs to the NCAA, collegiate circuits, and all levels of professional baseball.
Assistant General Manager - Geoff Allen
Geoff’s depth of experience in the game along with his deep-rooted connection to the Niagara Region will be an asset in all areas of the organization. We are excited and fortunate to add someone with such a tremendous skillset, as we grow and develop this high-end brand of collegiate summer baseball in St. Catharines
Social Media Coordinator - Noah Murata
Noah Murata is the Social Media Coordinator for the Niagara Ironbacks, bringing energy, creativity, and a strong feel for what fans want to see both online and at the ballpark. From game-day highlights to behind-the-scenes moments, Noah helps bring Ironbacks baseball to life across all platforms.
He leads the team’s social media presence, creating engaging content, promoting events, and keeping fans connected all season long. Whether it’s a big win, a community event, or a fun in-game moment, Noah makes sure Ironbacks fans don’t miss a thing.
Outside of social media, Noah is involved in all areas of the organization, contributing to game-day operations, promotions, and community initiatives. His all-in approach and passion for the game help create a fun and memorable experience for everyone who comes out to support the Ironbacks
In-Game Host - Megan Divecha
Megan Divecha is an award-winning Host and Community Producer living in Hamilton. As the Creator of Cable 14’s “The Arty Crowd Out Loud!” (2022-present), she has spent 4 seasons interviewing 30+ artists and arts venue owners. From introducing JUNO winners on the Supercrawl Main Stage to co-hosting the Hamilton Santa Claus Parade, Megan is excited to bring her experience in broadcasting and lifelong love of the game to the Niagara Ironbacks this season.
